京都きょうとは 日本にほんの 有名ゆうめいな 町まち a famous city in Japan です。 昔むかしの 日本にほんの 都みやこでした。

京都きょうとにはたくさんのお寺てらがあります。 金閣寺きんかくじはとてもきれいです。 清水寺きよみずでらも 有名ゆうめいです。

There are many temples in Kyoto. Kinkaku-ji (Golden Pavilion) is very beautiful. Kiyomizu-dera is also famous.

春はるには 桜さくらの 花はながたくさん 咲さきます。 秋あきには 木きの 葉はが 赤あかくなります。とてもきれいです。

In spring, many cherry blossoms bloom. In autumn, the leaves turn red. It's very beautiful.

京都きょうとの 食たべ物ものはおいしいです。お茶ちゃとお菓子かしが 有名ゆうめいです。ラーメンもおいしいです。

The food in Kyoto is delicious. Tea and sweets are famous. The ramen is also delicious.

着物きものを 着きて 歩あるく 人ひと people walking in a kimono もいます。 古ふるい 町まちを 歩あるくの walking through the old town は 楽たのしいです。

Some people walk around wearing kimono. It's enjoyable to walk through the old town.

東京とうきょうから 新幹線しんかんせんで 行いけます。 約やく2時間じかんかかります。

You can get there by bullet train from Tokyo. It takes about 2 hours.
