How to Use
「〜たところ」は、あるアクションを行った直後の結果や状況を説明するときに使います。特に予想外の結果や、意外な発見があった場合によく使われます。
"~ta tokoro" is used to describe the result or situation immediately after taking an action. It's particularly common when describing unexpected results or surprising discoveries.
Main Uses

「調べてみたところ、全く違う答えが出てきた」(しらべてみたところ、まったくちがうこたえがでてきた)
"When I looked it up, a completely different answer came up"
