How to Use

「〜に比べて」は、2つの物事を比較するときに使います。英語の"compared to..."に相当し、特定の基準と比べた違いを説明する際によく使われます。 「〜と比べて」も使えます。

"~ni kurabete" is used when comparing two things. It corresponds to "compared to..." in English and is commonly used to explain differences in relation to a specific reference point.

“〜と比べて to kurabete” is also used.

  • 動詞普通形 ＋ のに比べて (Verb Plain form + no ni kurabete)

    Ex. 高いのに比べて (takai no ni kurabete)

  • な形容詞 ＋ なのに比べて (na-adjective + na no ni kurabete)

    *Use「な」only in the present affirmative form.
