How to Use
「〜として」は、ある物事の立場・資格や例示、評価・判断の理由を示すときに使います。英語の"as"や"for"に相当します。
"~toshite" is used to indicate something's position/role, to give examples, or to express evaluation/reason for judgment. It corresponds to "as" or "for" in English.
Main Uses
1. Indicating Position/Role / 立場・資格
「教師として責任があります」(きょうしとしてせきにんがあります)
"As a teacher, I have responsibility"
